Are Apple Bee Lounge Sets Suitable for All Weather Conditions?

When choosing garden furniture, an important question is often: "Can they withstand all weather conditions?" The answer for Apple Bee lounge sets is a resounding yes. Apple Bee is known for its innovative designs and durable materials, which are specially selected to withstand sun, rain, and fluctuating temperatures. Below, you can read about how this furniture performs in different weather conditions and what you can do to provide extra protection.

1. Weatherproof BEE WETT® Cushions

One of the biggest advantages of Apple Bee lounge sets is the innovative BEE WETT® technology in the cushions. This technology ensures that the cushions are not only comfortable but also resistant to rain and moisture.

How Does It Work?

• Water-repellent: The cushions are designed to let water pass through easily rather than retaining it.
• Quick-drying: Water flows through the foam and evaporates quickly, allowing the cushions to dry within a few hours.
• Easy to maintain: Small stains and dirt are easy to rinse off with water or a mild detergent.

This technology means you can simply leave the cushions outside, even during a rain shower.

2. Weather-Resistant Frames

Apple Bee uses strong, durable materials such as matte black powder-coated aluminum and FSC-certified teak for their furniture. These materials can withstand both rain and sunshine.

Features of Aluminum Frames

• Rust-resistant: Aluminum does not oxidize and remains beautiful, even in heavy rain.
• Lightweight and strong: The frame is easy to move while still offering stability.

Features of Teak

• Naturally moisture-resistant: Teak is naturally oily, which prevents water from penetrating the wood.
• Naturally weathers: Without treatment, teak develops an elegant silver-grey color, creating a beautiful, natural look.

3. Protection Against Extreme Weather Conditions

Although Apple Bee lounge sets are designed for outdoor use, extra protection during extreme weather conditions is always recommended to extend the lifespan of your furniture.

Tips for Extra Protection

• Use Breathable Protective Covers: These covers protect your furniture from rain, snow, and dirt. Choose covers that prevent moisture buildup through ventilation openings.
• Store Cushions Indoors: Although the BEE WETT® cushions are weather-resistant, it is wise to store them in a dry, well-ventilated space during the winter months.
• Clean Regularly: Remove dirt and dust to prevent it from accumulating and affecting the materials.

• Long Lifespan: The materials used are designed to last for years, regardless of the weather.
• Stylish Garden, All Year Round: Thanks to their elegant designs, Apple Bee lounge sets remain an eye-catcher, regardless of the season.
